Growing up in Stanmore, Middlesex, eight year old Sara Etienne had unusually strange experiences that occurred nightly for some time. Staring at her bedroom walls she would see what she still describes as a vacuum or tunnel and, on closing her eyes, would see faces - young and old - flashing before her. Quite frightening and unexplained as this was, her parents did not panic, since her father was a spiritually-aware man who held a deep understanding of mysticism and the Kabala. He helped her to relax, accept and understand it. Eventually, it ceased, but as she grew up, Sara always felt aware of a subtle energy or presence around her that became stronger over time. While playing piano she often felt as though someone was guiding her hands to play far beyond her own capabilities.
When she was 19, Sara had an experience while sitting by the ocean in Israel that was the dawning of her recognition that spirits truly existed and that the presence that she had always felt was unmistakably leading her on a spiritual pathway. On her return home, she visited a medium for the first time, who enlightened her as to the ways of the spirit dimensions. She spoke of Spirit Guides and Guardian Angels and Sara then understood that her gift was her ability to tune in to spirits in the same way one would tune in to a radio station.
Sara describes a time in her own life when, like most people, things got difficult and, out of desperation, she asked out loud for help: "If there is any truth in a higher power and source of well-being, then please let me feel it". After a few moments, she felt embraced with an overwhelming sense of positivity, warmth and love, as though the sun had come out. Her fears dissolved. This was, once again, confirmation to her that this force existed. From that moment onwards, she has lived her life with a positive mindset and trusted that, come what may, the realms of Spirit would continue to support her and her two children.
With over 25 years' experience, she has an extraordinary gift of helping people connect with their family and friends who are in Spirit ... this is her heart's desire more than anything else. Sara has developed and finely tuned her amazing gift to the degree that she can hear, feel and see spirit.
She is a member of the SAGB (Spirit Association of Great Britain) and runs psychic development circles, meditation groups, workshops and readings, she also does platform work. Sara has also worked alongside other renowned mediums around the country. She calls the work that she does 'Soul counselling'. “ Over the years I have had the privilege to meet incredible people who have selflessly devoted their time, care and love for very little and in some cases no money to helping others less fortunate, not just people but to the animal world too. Last Sunday afternoon I spent a wonderful few hours with Terrie and Mick Brent, a couple who have opened their home to lovingly and tirelessly looking after abandoned and abused Huskies, running Husky Rescue www.dreamcatcher.org.uk.
It is so hard to understand how anyone could mistreat these dogs, or think of them as unfriendly or just as working dogs with no personality, the stories Terrie and Mick related as to why some of the dogs they were caring for had been abandoned or locked up for hours on end with no human contact or exercise.... These beautiful animals love people and in their native habitat slept with their families especially with the children to keep them warm in the cold arctic nights…and even though these huskies had been let down by their previous owners the love and happiness felt from the dogs was wonderful, each one thriving through the caring and healing from not just Terrie and Mick but from each other.
Watching them interact with each other was fascinating and I could feel the respect shown openly that they had for one another, each one distinct not just by their beautiful colouring but by behaviour as well…the cheeky confident one sneaking a forbidden biscuit, the one who loved to nibble your ears or just enjoying being petted. Their personalities lovingly nurtured back...there was no fear only a gentle but firm understanding that was so evidently helped to achieve by the care and training empathically given by Terrie and Mick.
The energy and vibration around animals is the same as people and can be tapped into so easily, as I blended my energy with the vibration around one gorgeous Husky, Delta who lay beside me very relaxed and was enjoying being stroked, I was very aware of a sensitivity around the throat area and to do with the respiratory tract, when I described what I was feeling to Terrie she explained that on having to have an operation the vets found the dogs throat needed to be stretched to be able to insert and accommodate a breathing tube. I tapped in to another who made me very aware that she had previously lived in France in a Chateau but she was unhappy and was rescued from..I was then told that she ( now named Crystal ) had been rescued from France and in fact didn’t speak English when they first got her! It is moments like these when I feel so honoured to be able to channel and interpret through the universal healing vibration the awareness, feelings and memories within the auras of animals. We have to be their voice.

As soon as I sat down to link in to Tarpy's energy she was there! So excited, and running around to show me how happy she was. I feel that she would have passed about 12 years ago, but her energy is still young and vibrant. She is showing me a photo you have now up in your home possibly from that time ... you have quite large earrings on and wearing a light coloured top or jacket. I am being shown your father and he is holding her and Tarpy is licking his face ...This is making me aware that he is needing some healing right now and there is a problem with his knee, swelling and pain. I am now feeling your lovely mum Jackie with Tarpy and she is making me aware of a brain aneurism. Also I feel she had a very distinctive trot when walking, she has a male dog with her ... There is also a feeling around the eyes, possibly needed eye drops, also a distended stomach.... and around the ovaries.”
